The Dominican Republic will collect $20 Dollar US from every traveller leaving the country from an airport. This tax has to be paid in cash at departure. Ensure you have the right amount ready when you leave for your transportation to the airport as there are no bank machines at the airport. Best to bring the money when you arrive.
